Koroter OÜ has assumed the obligation of protecting the privacy of its customers and users. Proceeding from above, we have prepared these privacy policy principles that cover the collection, use, disclosure, transmittance, and storage of customers’ data. Our activities are in compliance with all applicable rules, relevant European Union legislation, and the laws of the Republic of Estonia.

Collection and use of personal data

Personal data is data that Koroter OÜ collects and uses to provide services agreed with individuals, send quotes, fulfill orders, conclude loyalty or cooperation agreements, transmit information and news, or contact relevant persons. Koroter OÜ is the controller of personal data.

Collection of customers’ personal data can take place in the following ways:

We ask for customers’ personal data in order to send price offers (including documents) to customers (the customer’s forename, surname, phone number, e-mail, affiliation with relevant company).
We ask for the customer’s data when submitting a cargo order in our office, through our online request form, by e-mail, or by telephone (cargo pick-up and destination location, what the cargo contains, phone number, e-mail address).
We review relevant information related to previous cargo orders (service tracking logs).
We ask for customers’ data when concluding cooperation agreements (including affiliation with relevant company; forename, surname, telephone number, and e-mail of the company’s contact person).
When customers visits our website, we collect information about their computer and use of our website (such as the IP address of the customer’s computer, geographical location, type and version of the web browser, operating system, time and duration of the visit, statistics on page views and page traffic).
When customers visits our website, we collect data through cookies.

Collection of other data and information

We also collect non-personal data about website visits – data that cannot be directly linked to a specific person (gender, age, language preference, location).
We may also collect information about generalized customer activities on our website, such as search terms, landing pages, etc. This data is aggregated and employed as allowing us to deliver more useful information to customers and to understand which information or services are of most interest. For the purposes of this privacy policy, aggregate data constitutes non-personal data.
Koroter OÜ uses Google Analytics to analyze web usage. Google Analytics generates statistical and other website use related information based on data obtained from cookies. We utilize this information to prepare reports on the use of our website. Such information is stored by Google whose privacy policy is available for review here.

Using collected personal data

Using the personal data collected, we can inform customers about the Koroter OÜ’s services, campaigns, and special offers. We also use the collected personal data to inform the customer by arranging shipments.
We use personal data we’ve collected to fulfill our obligations before the customers, for example, when preparing a translation service quote and delivering documents.
When you communicate with us, we may retain the correspondence so as to improve our services and our website or to perform other public objectives.
In order to better serve our customers, Koroter OÜ may disclose information about service users to third parties who provide services to Koroter OÜ and are contractually obligated to keep shared information confidential.
